FrontPostExtension

These extensions are made from black polyethylene. The inner diameter should be of the correct size to fit snug on most Mosin Nagants with the round post style sight. The outer diameter is only .035 larger than the original post. Allowing little change in the sight picture. With an extension installed it can be cut to the desired length to lower impact. 1/8" longer than original post is a good place to start. You can always cut it shorter if it's too long. There is enough material in each kit to extend at least 4 post.
